No Makeup, Makeup Favs

We all have those days, weeks or months!  Where we want to look put together but either don’t have the time in the morning, want to sleep in a bit more or just aren’t feeling it!

For me, I’ve been in a makeup “rut” if you will.  It’s starting to warm up where I live in Canada.  It gets very humid and sticky, sweaty/gross.  A full face of makeup would end up dripping down my face before noon hit.

No Makeup, Makeup Products

I have done full reviews on all products mentioned above already, so this will be brief.

FitGlow Beauty Vita-Action Foundation – Love this because it is light weight, with a medium to full coverage and has so many benefits built right into the foundation.  Leaves my skin hydrated, glowing and evens out my skin without having to use more than one product. Click here for my full review on this product!

Pacifica Mascara – Love this mascara for the lengthening and natural look it gives my lashes.  I will be getting the Waterproof version as the summer hits as we do get a lot of rain and like I mentioned above humidity is high here.  Click here for my full review on this product!

Silk Naturals: HD Concealer and Perfecting Powder – The HD Concealer has a nice smooth feeling, covers my under eye area and any blemishes nicely without being cakie on top/below the foundation. I have used Benefits: Boi-ing concealer in the past and find this is a close dupe, in my option.  The Perfecting Powder is a nice, light finishing powder that sets the foundation and concealer without leaving a “powder face” feel.  It holds up throughout the day as well. Real Techniques – The Setting brush, Multi-Tasking brush and Miracle Sponge are my go to, use every day tools in my kit right now!  If you follow me on Instagram than you know that I had a mishap with the Miracle Sponge. I recently repurchased a new set and am ready to rock again! Click here for my review on these tools!

NYX Micro Brow Pencil – I did a First Impressions on this product a while back.  It has a small, precise point with a spoolie at the other end.  It has a nice colour pay off, allows for “hair” like duplication and stays put all day.

All of the above at Cruelty-Free!  Everything but the NYX Micro Brow Pencil and the tools are Natural & Organic.

Simple, put together and fresh faced is how I’ve been rolling as of late!

What are your No Makeup, Makeup favs to use?

  1. Hot weather is a killer for wearing make up in the Australian Summer too. I am quite a sweaty person and keeping make up on is a challenge. Apart from the Real Techniques brush and sponge (I use both) i have not heard of any of the others. Nice post thank you

    1. Hi HealthandBeautyGirl. As the weather gets hotter here I tend to loose interest in eyeshadows and lots of makeup lol but I agree time to switch it up and experiment!
