Beauty Tools that I can not live without

Do you have items that you reach for daily, don’t think about until you run out or forget them?  I do! These are items that I use daily, that serve an important role in my getting ready or getting unready.  However, they are always things that I forget with I am packing a bag to go away!

Everyday Beauty items that I can't live without

Simple but crucial in my beauty routine are the following items:

  1. Cotton Rounds
  2. Q-tips
  3. Eyelash curler
  4. Face Cloth
  5. Shower cap

Cotton Rounds: I use these for a lot of things!  Removing my eye makeup.  Taking off my nail polish.  Doing a quick face wipe on lazy days or after a workout.  They are needed and used everyday, no matter if I am putting on makeup or laying around the house.  I go through these like ice cubes on a hot day!

Q-tips: Great little inventions these are.  Wish I had of invented them! 🙂  From cleaning my ears, taking care of mascara when I colour outside the lines or cleaning up my nail polish.  These babies are needed and missed when we run out or forget them.  I have tried other brands, but nothing compares to the name-brand ones 🙂

Eyelash Curler:  For a girl that has barely there, light and straight lashes an eyelash curler is a must!  I had been using an old one that I had had from high school.   It was plastic, barley curled my lashes and was falling apart.  I recently picked up a new one and love it!  My lashes have new life 🙂 A must have to look awake even if you are just running out the door without makeup on!

Face Cloth:  I use to use my hair towel every day to dry my face.  Than realized that it was gross and causing breakouts on my face.  I went to my local dollar store, and picked up some white face cloths. Nothing fancy!  I use them every day and night to dry my face.  Whether I just washed off my makeup or just applied a mask, these are always ready to go to get the job done.  I like white because they are more clean, you can see when they get stained and are spa like 🙂

Shower cap:  I recently started to wash my hair less and less this year.  I can get away with washing my hair 2 times a week.  Unless I have somewhere fancy to be, I’m good to go throughout the week. I wasn’t using shower caps for the longest time.  Than read how the heat from the shower was actually ruining and making my hair flatter by not wrapping it up.  So I went to my local dollar store and grabbed a pack of 10! Cheap and cheerful, these babies do the trick nicely.  About every couple weeks, depending on how the cap is looking, I open up a new one.  They last quite a long time and are very affordable.

There you have it!  My must have Beauty Tools that I can not live without!

  1. I think I’m the only person I know that doesn’t use an eyelash curler. They really freak me out lol I don’t like putting something so big and metal near my eye. I have to agree with all the others though. I also have wet wipes all the time too. They’re handy for making a defined wing in eyeshadow and eyeliner if things go a bit wrong x

  2. I have the same items on my list Tal, but I also can’t live without tissues and my eye liner/lip liner sharpener – I always seem to get in a mess when I do my makeup so tissues are essential, and I struggle to line anything unless the tip has a bit of a point xxx
