Acure Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil | Review

I have a confession to make.  I was afraid of oils.  I have oily/combo skin, so the thought of putting an oil onto my skin was insane to me.  However, when I came across a Canadian company offering Beauty Bloggers the chance to review a “Beauty Blogger Box” that has Natural items in it, I of course jumped at the opportunity!  Within this box was a few Acure Organic products.  I was excited as I had been seeing more and more Natural Beauty Bloggers recommend their products.

Acure Moroccan Argan Oil | Review

The first one that caught my eye was the argan oil.  Although I am not a fan of anything Rose Scented, I still was excited to give it a fair try.  The one benefit that had me so interested was the multitude of uses for this oil.

Acure’s website states just a few uses:  facial serum, body + decollete massage oil, hair serum, hand + cuticle oil, soothes dry elbows + heels.

I can honesty say that I am loving it for my body, hands and dry elbows and heels!  I am still afraid to use it on my hair and face…. but, I am not fully shying away.  I have used the excess on my hair ends the one day when my hair was so frizzy and out of control 🙂 I did not notice my hair limp or oily by any means, so I would say it was a win.

My face, if you have been a seasoned reader of mine, than you know that I am VERY cautions of what goes near or on my face.  With sensitive, acne prone skin, just looking at a product the wrong way can send my skin into a downwards spiral! 😉  At this time, I am using another oil face serum and have not used the Acure’s on my face.

With all that aside, this product is rich in vitamin E, has essential fatty acids, and proteins. Argan oil is said to help restore texture, elasticity and tone of the skin.

This winter I have been living in my Motor-Cross boots 🙂 My winters are not as snowy as others in Canada, so being able to rock cute/cool boots most winters is a bonus!  However, wearing them on a on stop basis has left a ring around  my calves from the consent rubbing of the material.  My skin marks up and bruises easily, so with summer weather around the corner, I want these marks gone, now!  I have been using the oil on the spots almost every day and night and have started to see an improvement in the ring.  Hopefully this miracle oil will get the job done.

I like how this oil is lightweight and easily absorbs into my skin, without leaving it oily and shiny.  I am not a fan of anything Rose scented, so the sweet Rose aroma that this has is not a plus for me. I do see that it comes in a Coconut scent, so if I was to repurchase this oil, I would for sure test that one out.

I love that Acure is: vegan, USDA Organic, sulfate free, paraben free & cruelty free (Leaping Bunny).

I have gotten a few Beauty Boxes in the past and have not loved nearly everything that has come.  But so far, I have not been let down and have joined the Beauty Community with loving Acure Organic products!

  1. Thanks for this fab review. I used to have the same thoughts about facial oils just making my skin oily but I have a new found love for them and my skin feels fabulous since using them 🙂 x

  2. I have not tried this brand’s Argan Oil. But I have used Holistic Vanity’s argan oil. I am SUPER acne prone and I was hesitant to use oils but after some skincare specialists recommended an oil for my skin, I tried it and have been using ever since. Although now I rotate through various oils cause I love so many of them now! xo

    1. I’m loving Fitglow Beauty ‘s Bliss Oil! It’s the first oil I’ve tried on my face and I’m loving it. Is it possible that oil cancels out oil 🤔😃 because I’ve been less oily lol anyways I’m glad after lots of research that I took the leap too 😍

    1. Hi Claire, That’s my main use for this one in particular also. I just fell in love with a face oil though 😉 so I’m slowly being converted!
